Prince Harry candidly admits that he made a blunder during his courtship with Meghan Markle, which involved watching some of her intimate scenes from the TV series "Suits."
In his memoir titled "Spare," the Duke of Suss*x humorously mentions that those scenes got stuck in his head, leaving him feeling like he needed "electric-shock therapy" to erase them.
Recalling the early days of their relationship, the 38-year-old prince confesses to having stumbled upon a scene where his now-wife, then playing lawyer Rachel Zane on the USA show, was passionately entangled with a castmate in what seemed to be an office or conference room setting. Amusingly, Harry asserts that witnessing such intimate moments was not something he required.
Markle, who portrayed the character Rachel Zane for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018, had her love interest, Mike Ross, portrayed by Patrick J. Adams. During that time, she was married to producer Trevor Engelson, but they parted ways in 2014. Interestingly, Adams, in turn, married "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario in 2016, and the couple attended Markle and Harry's grand wedding at St George's Chapel in May 2018.
The Prince shares another intriguing tidbit from the past. When news of the blossoming romance between Harry and Meghan broke out two years before their wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton apparently had a surprising reaction. According to Harry's memoir, the Prince of Wales, then 40, expressed a rather blunt response to his younger brother: "f–k off."
Baffled by the reaction at first, Harry later discovered that William and Kate were avid fans of the show "Suits" and were simply overwhelmed with excitement about the connection. Humorously, the prince confesses that he had initially worried about their acceptance of Meghan into the family but was instead faced with a barrage of questions about the series.
