Frankie Bridge Recounts Disconcerting Encounter with Overzealous Admirer During Her Tenure in The Saturdays

Frankie Bridge has vividly recalled an unsettling episode when an overly enthusiastic admirer crossed boundaries by forcibly kissing her during her tenure in the girl band The Saturdays.

Making an appearance on the talk show Loose Women on a Tuesday, the panelist divulged an incident where she was 'seized' by a man while participating in a record signing event.

The vocalist openly confessed to grappling with anxiety, revealing that she only realized the gravity of the situation after the man 'planted a kiss on her lips' and swiftly departed.

She expressed gratitude for the presence of security personnel during the episode, acknowledging that the experience has made her more 'vigilant' moving forward.

In her own words: "During my time with The Saturdays, I was engaged in signings. I tend to be rather anxious in crowded settings, and on one occasion, a man seized my attention, spun me around, and unexpectedly kissed me on the lips.

"The swift sequence of events left me somewhat bewildered, as the man disappeared shortly thereafter. Fortunately, our security personnel intervened and ensured my safety."

She continued, "This incident had quite an impact on me. It has fostered a heightened sense of caution within me."

Frankie, known for her earlier involvement in S Club Juniors and later The Saturdays from 2007 until their hiatus in 2014, recently experienced a heartwarming reunion on live television.

The heartening reconnection unfolded as the former bandmates appeared on separate segments of Loose Women and This Morning. The duo seized the opportunity to exchange pleasantries during the transition between the shows.

Both Frankie and Rochelle emerged into the spotlight through their association with S Club Juniors and subsequently The Saturdays during the early 2000s. Presently, they have transitioned into television roles — Frankie as a recurring panelist on Loose Women and Rochelle as a guest presenter on This Morning.

The congenial exchange unfolded as Rochelle affectionately waved and sent air kisses to her fellow bandmate, enthusiastically chiming, "Hi Frankie!" in an ebullient manner.

Frankie responded with equal fervor, "Hello, Babes!" Rochelle continued playfully, "We're conducting conversations through walls," alluding to the proximity of their adjacent ITV studios.

Rochelle's co-host, Andi Peters, playfully quipped, "Do you two not own phones?" in a lighthearted reference to their face-to-face communication instead of texting.

The duo, having crossed paths on various occasions since their girl band days, shared a lively exchange at the ITV Palooza in the previous November.

Currently, Frankie is engaged in the theatrical production "2:22 A Ghost Story" at The Apollo Theatre, starring alongside Jaime Winstone in the role of Jenny. The production is scheduled to run until the 17th of September.

Frankie's recent West End debut garnered widespread acclaim, with fans commending her performance and expressing pride in her journey from her earlier pop music endeavors to her current theatrical pursuit.
