Jana Kramer, though awaiting the arrival of her third child, her inaugural one with her fiancé Allan Russell, remains somewhat skeptical about embarking on a babymoon.
Kramer, in the aftermath of disclosing her engagement to Russell after a whirlwind six-and-a-half-month courtship, shared the news of her pregnancy a few weeks later.
In a recent episode of her podcast "Whine Down," Kramer deliberated on the possibility of a babymoon in October, expressing reservations due to a whirlwind of ongoing commitments.
The songstress behind "I Got the Boy" also conveyed her negative sentiments toward babymoons, a result of her ex-husband Mike Caussin's infidelity.
Kramer recounted a revelation from her ex-husband regarding an incident that occurred just prior to their babymoon in L.A. The trip, which had held an aura of enchantment for her, was forever altered by Caussin's subsequent admissions.
Reflecting on the matter, she expressed, "We stayed at the Montage in Laguna Beach. Yet, to think that a mere week prior, you were engaged in behaviors that were contrary to the sanctity of our relationship… it has cast a shadow over that memory."
Kramer's offspring include Jolie and Jace, both products of her union with Caussin. Their marriage, which spanned six years, concluded in April 2021, with their divorce being finalized in July of the same year.
Publicly addressing the infidelity, Kramer divulged that Caussin's transgressions involved more than thirteen women. She conceded that had she remained with him, the cycle of infidelity would likely have endured indefinitely.
The narrative of how Russell proposed to Kramer was unveiled in a prior installment of her podcast "Whine Down."
Describing the occasion, she recounted, "During a delightful summer gathering by the pool, attended by close friends and family, Allan suggested we take a walk to enjoy the serene night."
Jolie, Kramer's daughter from her marriage with Caussin, was the bearer of this news to her father. Kramer disclosed that their private conversation was followed by her father's supportive words: "I'm genuinely thrilled for you, and I believe Allan is a wonderful man."
