Jennifer Aniston Taken Aback by Brad Pitt's Plan to Sell Production Company

Recent reports suggest that Jennifer Aniston was caught off guard upon learning of Brad Pitt's intentions to sell their jointly founded production company, Plan B. Aniston is reportedly interested in obtaining a share of the profits if the sale goes through.

Although ownership of the production house was transferred to Brad Pitt following their separation, Aniston holds the belief that she is entitled to a portion of the proceeds.

An insider disclosed to Heat Magazine, "This matter goes beyond mere monetary concerns. From Jennifer's perspective, what holds equal importance is the principle at stake."

"The core issue here is that she was a co-creator and an original founder of Plan B. While the formal transfer was executed to Brad, she feels she never received due credit for her foundational contributions. Additionally, she served as an unofficial consultant for numerous years, aiding Brad in conceptualizing projects, making significant investments, and strategic business choices," the source elaborated.

Aniston reportedly anticipates recognition and participation in the event of Brad's sale proceeding, along with the possibility of collaborating with the future proprietor.

"Until just a few years ago, Jennifer and Brad were actively collaborating on projects and scripts for the company. However, recent revelations suggest that Brad has been planning this sale for quite some time. It's disheartening for Jennifer to realize that she was blindsided and excluded from this process."

"While Jennifer still maintains a degree of care for Brad and refrains from negative commentary, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the sensitivity issues she had expressed during their past," the insider remarked.

Sources suggest that for a conciliatory gesture, Pitt could potentially consider extending a financial gesture of $100 million to Aniston, a gesture that could be relatively inconsequential if the sale proceeds as planned.

The former couple co-founded Plan B in 2001 during their marriage. However, Brad Pitt took sole control of the venture in 2005 after their divorce.
