Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough have put any rumors of bad blood to rest following their legal settlement over Elvis Presley's Graceland estate. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Priscilla shared that she and Riley are on good terms and that they have never had any strained relations, contrary to reports in the media.
The settlement concluded a months-long legal dispute that arose after Priscilla filed a court petition challenging the validity of her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's will, just two weeks after Lisa Marie's death. The dispute centered around changes to the trustees of the Graceland estate. Ultimately, Riley Keough was named the executor and in charge of the estate, with Priscilla being offered an advisory role to support Riley in managing affairs related to Graceland.
Priscilla emphasized that she is there to help Riley and support her in her new role. She mentioned having dinner plans with Riley and highlighted their strong bond. This stands in contrast to earlier reports that suggested tension between the two due to the legal dispute.
Riley Keough also expressed similar sentiments in a previous interview with Vanity Fair, emphasizing her strong relationship with her grandmother and Priscilla's role in preserving her grandfather's legacy and the Presley family's heritage.
The resolution of the legal dispute and the reconciliation between Priscilla and Riley demonstrate their commitment to maintaining the legacy and heritage of Elvis Presley and Graceland, as well as their family's unity in the face of challenges.
