Aaron Rodgers faces repercussions for insinuating connections between Jimmy Kimmel and Jeffrey Epstein, resulting in his removal from The Pat McAfee Show for the football season.
On Wednesday, the 36-year-old sports expert announced the exclusion of Aaron Rodgers Tuesday, a weekly segment, eliciting applause from McAfee and his show's co-hosts.
“I’m pumped that that is no longer gonna be every single Wednesday of my life,” expressed McAfee, pleased with the decision. “There’s gonna be a lot of people that are happy with that, myself included. To be honest, the way it ended, it got real loud… I’m happy that he’s not gonna be [in] my mentions going forward, which is great news.”
Rodgers, 40, grabbed headlines on January 2nd after implying that Kimmel, 56, was linked to Jeffrey Epstein, the sex offender who died in 2019. This led to their separation.
During an ESPN interview, Rodgers referenced a supposed list of individuals connected to Epstein, hinting that many, including Kimmel, were anxious about its potential revelation.
In response, Kimmel took to Twitter, threatening legal action against Rodgers. He refuted any association with Epstein, emphasizing the harm caused by Rodgers' "reckless words" to his family.
The aftermath has resulted in Rodgers' exclusion from The Pat McAfee Show for the remainder of the football season.
