Jeremy Renner, 53, resumes work a year after a near-fatal snow plow accident.

The actor, known for his role in Mayor of Kingstown, marks his return to the set for the production of the third season of the Paramount+ series.

Sharing his feelings on Instagram, Renner posted a confident snapshot in costume, wearing a long black coat over a grey suit and tie, expressing nervousness on the first day back, saying, "Hope this works out that I can ACTUALLY pull this off for our production and more importantly for the fans."

Reflecting on the one-year anniversary of his serious accident, Renner spoke on CNN's New Year's Eve show about his determination to overcome the ordeal.



"I'm just so blessed that I had so many things to live for," Renner shared. "I have a giant family, I have a 10-year-old daughter. There's a lot for me to get better for."

Describing himself as a "pretty stubborn SOB," Renner highlighted the importance of the support and reasons that fueled his recovery. He acknowledged the responsibility he felt towards his family and the commitment to a one-way road to recovery in his mind.
