Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is feeling remorseful about not answering calls from his father, King Charles.
Despite their strained relationship since Harry left the Royal Family in 2020, he now misses the connection he once had with his father and longs for a call from him.
During a visit to the WellChild Awards in London in September 2022, Harry learned about Queen Elizabeth's passing through the BBC.
However, author Robert Hardman disputes this in his new book, stating that the King had been trying to contact Harry urgently, but the calls couldn't get through as Harry was in the air.
In his memoir, Harry mentioned receiving an urgent message from his wife, Meghan Markle, about the Queen's death while his plane was descending.
Despite speaking to his father on his 75th birthday, Prince Harry is facing challenges in his efforts to return to the UK. He is currently in a court battle for security funding for himself and his family.
Express.co.uk reported that Harry is eager to return to his home country and reunite with King Charles and his brother, Prince William. During the promotion of his memoir, Harry expressed a desire to mend relationships, saying, "It never needed to be this way. I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back."
Whether King Charles will permit Prince Harry's return to the UK remains uncertain.
