Kourtney Kardashian has been praised for embracing her postpartum body three months after the birth of her first child with husband Travis Barker.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Travis posted pictures of the loved-up couple which included several of Kourtney posing in lingerie and flaunting her curves.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day my beautiful wife,’ he wrote to which the mum-of-four responded: ‘Happy Valentine’s Day husband of my dreams’.
Followers flocked to the comment to praise the 44-year-old reality TV star for embracing her postpartum body mere months on from welcoming their son Rocky Thirteen.
Filled with lots of positive comments, one person wrote: ‘Love seeing her postpartum body! Gorgeous!’ while another said: ‘LOVE the natural beauty Kourtney is rocking’.
Someone else said the snaps were ‘beautiful and real’ while others praised Kourtney for not adding filters to her photos.
Kourtney shared her own Valentine’s post with a vague caption reading ‘One year ago today’, accompanied by a love heart. Travis, 47, made sure to clear up any confusion writing: ‘We made baby Rocky’, alluding to the date when their son Rocky Thirteen was conceived.
The series of images showcased their 2023 trip to the desert, complete with a log fire, roses and a pool by the mountains.
In response to the couple’s honest post about last year’s Valentine’s Day, one commenter wrote: ‘Stop was this where bb Rocky came about’ while another added: ‘Oh so this is where you conceived!’
Kourtney welcomed her first child with Blink 182 drummer Travis in November last year and continued a sweet tradition of Travis’ when it came to picking a name for their little arrival.
The couple have long spoken about their difficulties getting pregnant, so when they found out that they were finally expecting a son, they set about coming up with a name that represented everything they had gone through to have him.
Travis previously said that he took inspiration from Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky movie character, who overcame all the odds to become a champion, as well as a few other special connections.
In a previous interview with his daughter Alabama for Complex’s GOAT Talk video series, he gave more insight into where the name Rocky Thirteen came from.
‘Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies, and 13 is just the greatest number of all time,’ he said.
Kourtney shares three other children, Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight, with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.
