Speaking to Piers Morgan on Talk TV, Burrell expressed his belief that King Charles III should take action against the couple in response to their upcoming Netflix docuseries.

Burrell, aged 64, also suggested that while Princess Diana would have supported Harry for protecting his family, she would not have appreciated the commercialization surrounding her youngest son and his wife. He questioned why the couple, who have distanced themselves from the royal family, should continue to use their royal titles, labeling their actions as "self-obsessed narcissism."

Paul Burrell emphasized that Harry's mother, Princess Diana, took pride in her sons being part of the royal family and supported the monarchy. He mentioned that she believed it was Harry's role to support his brother William on his path to the monarchy.

While Burrell admitted to being a staunch supporter of Harry in the past, he expressed that the documentary series had "crossed a line" for him.

However, not everyone shared Burrell's critical perspective. Talk TV contributor Paula Rhone-Adrien suggested that Harry and Meghan are going through a difficult time and emphasized the importance of listening to their side of the story. She mentioned issues like racism and the impact on their mental health.

Yesterday, Netflix announced that the first volume of the documentary will premiere on December 8, exactly three months after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. The second volume is set to be released on December 15, coinciding with the Princess of Wales' carol service.

The first part of the documentary will cover episodes one to three of the six-part series, while the second part will feature episodes four to six. Netflix described the series, titled "Harry & Meghan," as an exploration of their relationship from courtship to the challenges and controversies that led to their decision to step back from the royal family.

The streaming platform stated that the series would include interviews with individuals who have never spoken publicly about the couple's relationship, as well as historians and journalists who will analyze the media's role in Harry and Meghan's relationship with the royal family and the Commonwealth.

A dramatic trailer for the £88 million project was released, featuring Harry making claims about leaked stories, describing royal life as a "dirty game," and addressing the pain and suffering faced by women entering the institution. The trailer also showed emotional moments with Meghan, including scenes related to race and hatred.

In light of these developments, the controversy surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continues to generate intense discussion and debate.
